Cast and Creatives

Margarida Macieira is a freelance dance artist, Gaga teacher, and event producer working primarily in London (UK), Tel Aviv (Israel), Lisbon (Portugal) and Canada.

As a dance artist, Margarida has performed with companies such as Gil Kerer Dance, Jean Abreu Dance, James Cousins Company and Company Chameleon. Since March 2018, in partnership with Nicolas Ventura, Margarida is co-director and production manager of Addo Platform, developing dance workshops and regular classes in Vancouver, Toronto and Lisbon. Meanwhile, she is also creating her own work as a choreographer and collaborator and enjoys delving into multidisciplinary projects. Born in Lisbon, Portugal,  she studied ballet, Graham technique, choreography and general Arts at Academia de Dança Contemporânea de Setúbal. In her last year of studies, she joined Quorum Ballet Company as an apprentice. In 2013, she moved to London to study at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating with a 1st BA (honors) in dance.

During 2018/2019, she undertook the Gaga Teacher Training program in Tel Aviv, Israel, supported by GDA Foundation in Portugal. The individualized program is under the artistic direction of Bosmat Nossan, Saar Harari, and Ohad Naharin.

Rafaela Sahyoun is a dance artist based in São Paulo, Brazil. Her work shifts between performing, teaching, producing and developing experiences within the arts.

Currently as maker she is ahead of the collaborative performance NINGUEMMESOLTA, as well her most recent solo work Giant.  She is a performer in the production Supernada by Clarice Lima (BR). Is a dancer in the productions Replay and GLORY(duo) both by Porto based choreographer Renan Martins (PT/BR). From 2014 till 2018 was a company member of Jorge Garcia Companhia de Dança.

Rafaela is the artistic director and curator of Saia Pra Santa – dança e práticas corporais; a dance immersive program in Brazil since 2017. In parallel, teaching plays a big role in her practice. Since returning to Brazil in 2014 after 8 years studying and performing dance abroad, Rafaela has developed a way to maintain a personal creative dance practice. She is constantly sharing it in workshop formats alongside immersive dance formats for various dance companies as well as private and public institutions. Currently it is a guest teacher at Pera School of Performing Arts in North Cyprus. Recently was a guest teacher at Cie. Toula Limnaios (Berlin) and at Tanzfabrik during the Open Spaces Sommer Tanz.

Rafaela graduated from SEAD - Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (Austria) in 2013 and graduated the program Dance Studies at Trinity Laban (London) in 2010. Participated at two EX-IN 30 days intensive practices with David Zambrano in Spain in 2016 and in Germany 2014.

Camilla Brogaard is a Danish dancer and dance-maker based in Berlin. She is a writer, dedicated to poetic work, and whilst engaged in new artistic projects she is also earning her degree in philosophy.
Her most recent performance commitments and collaborations include the work of Punchdrunk, Ursina Tossi, Theo Clinkard, Simone Forti, and Johannes Wieland.
Camilla has a romantic belief in the body's innate need to refine and understand its multiple ways of expression and communication, thus, she professionally engage herself, not only as an artist, but also as a yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner.
